FAQs
Where is the service offered?
Joan Jones Homemade offers meal prep services in the Northern Berkshires and Southern Vermont.
Where is the food prepared?
Most of the food is prepared in the client’s home. Some baked goods may be prepared in my kitchen, and brought to the client.
What equipment do I need?
Although it is useful to have standard kitchen supplies and equipment, it is not necessary. I will do a run through of your kitchen, prior to your meal prep and will bring any extra equipment and supplies needed.
How does scheduling work?
You need to schedule the service at least one week in advance.
How does the payment work?
Once your meal prep date has been scheduled, a $200 deposit is required. $100 of that deposit will be used to purchase your groceries. On the day of your meal prep service, the final payment is due.
What is the cancellation policy?
You may cancel 48 hours in advance for a full refund (minus the cost of any groceries that have been purchased). After that, you will forfeit your deposit.
What kind of containers do I need for the food?
You may store your food in any container you prefer. Many clients choose to purchase reusable glass storage containers. I can also bring plastic to- go containers for your meals.
Do you offer any other chef services?
Yes, I offer a variety of services, including small dinner parties & cooking classes.
